Rear Wheel Hubs - 400EX [LS12-121] $183.95 by Victor Shortt Date Added: Monday 06 December, 2004 Killer rear hibs! They look great, installation was fast and easy and the addition of the pinch bolt onthe axle side really makes these fit secure. I did have one problem, the OEM log nuts on my stock 400EX don't fit the new studs!! Luckily the hubs come with new nuts, but since they are standard "shouldered" nuts, they won't work with the stock wheels (stock wheels require a chamfered nut and are not self-centering). Other than this small problem, installation was a snap. Simply remove the cotter pin from the hub nut, remove the nut, slide off the old hub, slide on the new hub, install the hub nut and a new cotter pin and tighten down the punch bolt. You're done.
