These handlebars were purchased to replace the OEM bars on a Honda 400EX after a nasty spill down a ravine.
Initial quality is excellent. The handlebars fit perfectly onto the OEM joint. These bars are a little wider than the originals allowing the rider greater control while sacrificing the ability to easily skirt through narrow paths and trails. Powdercoating is thick and looks really nice. The bars are the exact same diameter as the OEM bars, allowing all of the controls to be mounted easily with the exception of the electric control module on the left-hand side. the OEM module has a small nipple on it used to mount to the OEM bar. (the oem bar as a small hole drilled in it for this nipple to sit inside). the small plastic nipple had to be removed to allow for fittment onthe new bars. Other than this, the changeover took less than 30 minutes, including removing the old bars.
Overall I am very satisfied with the bars. They weight about te same as the originals, and look great. Make sure to order replacement grips wihen you order the bars as the OEM grips will ont fit. (the inside diameter of the bars is too small or the OEM grip clamps.
